Sandblasting & Film
You may want to draw attention to a clear glass door, window or wall for safety reasons (known as glass manifestation). You may also want to obscure all or part of it for privacy reasons. We can offer to do this either by sandblasting the glass, or with window film.
Window Film
When you need to add privacy or safety to your glass, while still allowing light in and without the permanence of sandlbasting, window film can be a great option.
Burgess Glass can supply and fit any size and design of sandblasted glass film in any commercial, academic or residential setting. We can also supply and fit solar reflective films to external glass to help keep your property cool on sunny days.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is a fantastic option on standard or safety glass to add design details or enhance privacy. It’s often used to give a bordered edge to mirrors, to add a design to a shower enclosure, to provide privacy in office spaces or bathrooms, and to display the building name or number on doors and fanlights. It is more permanent than film, and you can add small details or intricate designs without the risk of them peeling off over time.
